Su richiesta delle prof.sse Francesca Antonacci, Elisabetta Biffi, Monica Guerra e Franca Zuccoli, segnaliamo la Spring School “Arts and Educational Research. Methods, Languages and New Perspectives”.
The “Arts and Educational Research: Methods, Languages and New Perspectives” Lake Como Spring School will offer an international and interdisciplinary training programme for Ph.D. students, post docs, early and experienced researchers with an interest in the field of Arts-related, Arts-based and Arts-informed methods in Educational Research. It aims to create an environment conducive to critical thinking and to support exchange opportunities and methodological discussion. It will include lectures, seminars and group-work sessions led by scholars of national and international standing. Arts-related, Arts-based and Arts-informed are qualitative research methods that have become more recognized in recent years.
Mainly used in the social sciences and in educational research, they are based on interdisciplinary theoretical and methodological approaches aimed at using artistic languages, skills and methodologies in research. In these approaches art is not only a tool to express feelings and emotions, but a complex way of collecting, analysing and evaluating knowledge. The Spring school will offer Phd students and researchers the possibility to widen their knowledge on these approaches, by presenting different examples that will allow them to experience their potential as resources for educational research. Location. Lake Como School of Advanced Studies is located c/o Fondazione Alessandro Volta at Villa del Grumello, in Como, Italy Remotely (with a minimum of 5 participants): the lectures and methodological workshops will be delivered in streaming Application deadline 11.04. 2022 For further information, you can consult our web page (https://erar.lakecomoschool.org) or contact us by mail at spring.school.arteducation@unimib.it
